Team 18 / Chevrolet Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 2026 Aero Test Livery
At the beginning of 2025, Team 18 announced a landmark partnership with General Motors, securing the homologation team role from 2026 onward. With Toyota set to join the grid, the championship was preparing for a three-manufacturer battle, placing a renewed emphasis on aerodynamic development. This included critical testing in the United States, where the Supra was evaluated against the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro to ensure parity across the field.
That intensive development phase was brought into focus when Team 18 and Chevrolet Racing unveiled a striking gunmetal grey Camaro Supercar. The subdued finish was deliberately chosen as the preferred aero-testing colour, allowing for clearer visual analysis and reinforcing the serious intent behind the program.
Despite its understated purpose, the livery was nothing short of breathtaking. Layered shades of grey, sharp linework, and the integration of Team 18 and Chevrolet Racing branding combined with flowing stripes to create a sleek, stealth-like Supercar – one that seemed destined to be replicated in scale model form from the moment it was revealed.
This model is scheduled to be produced in high quality die-cast with opening parts which includes the bonnet and both the driver and passenger doors.
A highly detailed racing cockpit can be seen through the molded clear glasshouse, or by opening the doors to examine the interior further. Under the bonnet includes a detailed 5.7-litre Chevrolet Racing LTR V8 and engine bay surround. Underneath the model, the undercarriage details the unique Gen3 floorpan.
Comprised of roughly 204 individual metal and plastic parts, with anywhere between 100-200 steps in paint and decoration finishing, including tampo printing where possible, photo etched parts including the bonnet pints, brake rotors and more, this is a high quality, detailed collectors model.
It will come in an exclusive, one-off limited edition with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity presented in its own, Authentic Collectables branded protective cardboard folder.
