The Darwin Triple Crown is the official Indigenous Round of the Supercars Championship, with 2026 marking its fifth consecutive year. Once again, the event delivered a powerful celebration of First Nations culture, with stunning Indigenous artwork proudly woven into race liveries across the grid.
The Red Bull Ampol Racing Ford Mustangs took to Hidden Valley Raceway with a bold Indigenous livery, retaining the team’s iconic colours while bringing the artwork of students from the Clontarf Foundation Wyong Academy to the track. At the heart of the design is Hidden Valley Raceway, symbolising the Darkinjung people’s deep connection to their whale totem. Surrounding it are tracks representing the Supercars racing calendar, alongside native animals and vibrant rivers. Together, these elements represent the gathering of race fans and the coming together of Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.
Produced in 1:18 scale die-cast, the model features opening components including the bonnet and both driver and passenger doors. A highly detailed racing cockpit is visible through the clear moulded glasshouse or by opening the doors for closer inspection. Beneath the bonnet sits a faithfully recreated 5.4-litre Coyote quad overhead cam V8 engine and detailed engine bay, while the underside showcases the distinctive Gen3 floorpan.
Comprised of approximately 204 individual metal and plastic parts, the model undergoes between 100 and 200 separate paint and decoration processes. Finishing touches include tampo printing where possible and finely crafted photo-etched components such as bonnet pins and brake rotors, resulting in a premium, high-quality collector’s piece.
Produced in a strictly limited edition of just 888 pieces worldwide, this model is a must-have for Ford and Triple Eight Race Engineering fans alike.
