Capping off the performance, Kostecki secured the coveted Larry Perkins Trophy, marking a powerful and emphatic start to his campaign in the legendary number.
The 2026 livery builds on the visual identity established in 2025, while carrying even greater meaning. As the 2023 Supercars Champion and 2024 Bathurst 1000 winner, Kostecki now pilots the #17 Ford Mustang GT Supercar, continuing the legacy of Dick Johnson, one of Ford’s most iconic figures in Australian motorsport.
