The Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series is the domestic variant of the hugely successful Touring Car Racing formula adopted in more than 30 countries and regions worldwide, including the FIA WTCR World Touring Car Cup.
2022 was a year of big change for multiple Supercars Championship race winner Fabian Coulthard after unfortunately losing his Supercar seat due to the sale of Team Sydney to PremiAir Racing. It wasn’t long before he was snapped up by Walkinshaw Andretti Untied as a co-driver to partner Chaz Mostert at the Bathurst 1000 (where they ultimately finished 2nd) but that still left the popular Kiwi with plenty of spare time to fill.
TCR proved to be one of the answers for Coulthard in 2022 where he split his time across racing at some specific events in the striking blue #24 Stan Sport Wall Racing #24 Honda Civic Type R TCR and even lending his skills to the commentary team for the series across the year.
Round two at Phillip Island was a breakthrough weekend for Coulthard, achieving his best qualifying result before scoring a dream Sunday result, taking both race wins and holding off inaugural TCR Australia champion Will Brown in a thrilling Sunday finale.
This model will be based on Coulthard’s winning Phillip Island round and is part of the first TCR cars to be produced by Authentic Collectables.
This model is scheduled to be produced in sealed body format with clear windows and detailed interior in a limited edition with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
